  1. Dear Yulia, I love your website. I lived and worked in Russia for many years, and speak good Russian. The trouble is that I learned the language without a Teacher, so my grammar and spelling are terrible.
I will become a regular reader of your site. Keep up the good work.

  2. Test analysis:

    1. Книга очень интересная. КУПИ еë.

It can't be ПОКУПАЙ (Imperative, Imperfective because it has to be Perfective ("Buy this book now"). It can´t be КУПИШЬ because it´s not the Imperative, if КУПИШЬ is used it has to be a question (Купишь еë: Will you buy it).

    2. Мы встречались в университете, а потом ХОДИЛИ в кафе.

It has to be ХОДИЛИ because it´s a verb of movement that means "to go somewhere on foot and come back". The verb ВСТРЕЧАЛИСЬ is an Imperfective that means that they met regularly, so they also went there regularly.
It also could be БЕГАЛИ (run, two directions), but it doesn´t make much sense: "We met at the university and we ran to the cafe".

    3. Он хорошо помнил, О КАКОМ подарке мечтает Ирина.

The verb МЕЧТАТЬ (to dream) is always used with the preposition О and the Prepositional case.

    4. Я люблю смотреть фигурное катание, ХОТЯ сама не катаюсь..

There´s a clear concession meaning in this sentence, so it can´t be ПОТОМУ ЧТО. It can't be НЕСМОТРЯ (despite) because it´s used only with nouns and not with sentences. So, the correct answer is ХОТЯ (although).

    5. Я закончил работу БЛАГОДАРЯ твоей помощи.

"Your help" ("Твоя помощь") is something positive, so it can't be НЕСМОТРЯ (despite of). ИЗ-ЗА is normally used with a negative purpose. ИЗ-ЗА is also used with the Genitive case and it's the Dative case here. So, the only correcr answer is БЛАГОДАРЯ (thanks to), always used with the Dative case.

    6. Cтудент приходил к декану, чтобы он РАЗРЕШИЛ ему перевестись на другой факультет.

In the sentences with ЧТОБЫ (so that) the Past Tense is used, so it can´t be РАЗРЕШИТ. It has to be Perfective here because the permission normally can be given only once, so it can´t be РАЗРЕШАЛ (Allow, Imperfective).

  3. 7. Автобус ПРОЕХАЛ мимо остановки и не остановился.

The preposition МИМО (go by) is only used with the verbs of movement with the prefix ПРО.

    8. Я БЕСПОКОЮСЬ о здоровье родителей.

The verb БЕСПОКОИТЬСЯ (to worry about) is the only one here used with the preposition О. ЗАБОЧУ doesn´t exist and БЕСПОКОИТЬ (КОГО?, Accusative) means "bother smb".

    9. Я не пойду к друзьям, ПОКА НЕ сделаю всë задание.

ДО (before) is used only with nouns (in the Genitive case). ПОКА means "While". ПОКА НЕ means "Until".

    10. Этот текст НАЗЫВАЕТСЯ "Куст сирени"

The expression of "it´s called" or "the name os something" in Russian is НАЗЫВАЕТСЯ (НАЗЫВАЮТСЯ). ЗОВУТ is only with people and animal names, used with the Accusative case. НАЗЫВАЮТ means "the way somebody calles something or somebody", normally when it´s not its (or their) official name.

    11. Когда я прочитаю статью, я ДАМ еë тебе

ДАДИМ is the "we" form of the verb ДАТЬ, so it makes no sense in this sentence. ДАЮ is the "I" form for the verb ДАВАТЬ (Imperfective), while the whole sentence is in the Perfective, so ДАМ is the only correct form (ДАТЬ, I, Perfective).

    12. МЕНЯ всегда интересовал этот вопрос.

The verb ИНТЕРЕСОВАТЬ (to be interested in) is used with the Accusative case.

    13. Олег кончил ПИСАТЬ доклад поздно ночью.

The verbs КОНЧАТЬ-КОНЧИТЬ (finish), НАЧИНАТЬ-НАЧАТЬ (start) and ПРОДОЛЖАТЬ-ПРОДОЛЖИТЬ (continue) are always used with Imperfective infinitives.

    14. Она плохо понимает по-русски, ей НУЖЕН переводчик.

НУЖНО and НАДО are used with verbs in infinitive. НУЖЕН is used with masculine nouns.

    15. Я ещë не ВИДЕЛ директора сегодня.

ЕЩË НЕ (not yet) is always used with the Imperfective. ЗВОНИЛ is used with the Dative case, and we have the Accusative case in this sentence.
